The Triskellion Saga centers around Angela Benson and her quest to fulfill her destiny. She begins as a detective for the NYPD, but she becomes so much more in a world of magic, suspense, and horror.
The idea for this universe started back in 1998 with a “what if?” That’s the way most good stories begin, after all. My goal was to make a good story around an existing idea, but altering the origins of that theme to make it my own.
The idea began as a standalone story, but as the characters developed and grew, I realized I could do so much more with them. My job became making those characters likeable, people where the reader wants to invest their time, and putting them into a rich setting that could be a character of itself.
All of this got mixed in with own experiences, playing role playing games in high school, action movies, the works of Weis & Hickman and Dean Koontz, as well as the trials of everyday life.
My goal is to tell the story in such a way that the reader is entertained, and they can see the “movie” in their mind as I did when I wrote the scenes. I hope to keep the reader guessing about what’s going on, and how the characters relate, but making sure they want to find those answers.
