Happy New Year to you all!
It’s been busy since last month, and I’ve been doing everything but writing. It’s not a complaint. The holidays were great and we enjoyed the downtime, getting to see family, rest, cook, and eat!
We binged the entire season of Silo on Apple TV, and it was very good. I have more questions nown than when the series started, but that’s okay. I won’t read the books until after the show is done.

With that said, I’m gearing up for Lubbock-Con in February. I’ll be at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on February 24th (from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and the 25th (11:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with printed paperback copies avaialble for purchase. I’ll have some freebies, and I’m raffling off hardcover versions of Scourge and Demons (signed of course). They do charge for admission – $25 on Saturday and $15 on Sunday.
I hope to see you there!
I’m still working on Book Three of the Triskellion Saga (Cataclysm), and I hope to have that out soon. It’s taking longer than I intended, but sometimes life just happens. After that, I plan to give the Imperium Universe some attention, and here I thought world building was complicated!
I do have more in mind for Angela and her cohorts, so this won’t be the last time you see them.

I do want to thank Luna Gaither at the Cosmic Circus for reviewing both books. Her reviews were fair, and I don’t disagree with her, and overall, I think they are positive. She does make it clear there are spoilers, so beware if you haven’t read both books.

I’ve joined AllAuthor. It’s a great resource for writers, and the cover of Scourge will be in their “Cover of the Month” contest in February. I would appreciate any votes you can muster!
They send out “tweets”, so much to my chagrin, I now have pages at Twitter (X) and Facebook (links are on the home page). I have actively avoided social media, but I don’t think I’ll get my work in front of a wider audience without it. There’s not much to the pages yet, and I’m still trying to decide what to do with them. I have the idea for a book trailer bouncing around in my mind, so we’ll see. I would like to get something out on YouTube as well in the coming months.
I’ve been toying around with audio versions, which led me to various text-to-speech AI platforms. They work, but they just don’t sound real enough, unless you spend a fortune. I’ll keep that idea on the back burner for now, but since this whole enterpirse is self-funded, I have to be careful with what I decide to do.
Until next time,
